Description

The aim of this module is to provide students with the basic knowledge of both microeconomics and macroeconomics. Microeconomics is concerned with the choices of the individual economic agents, such as firms and households, and how these agents interact in the markets to determine price and allocation of resources in an economy. Macroeconomics is concerned with the aggregate levels of output, employment and prices, and the interaction between these variables; and the role of public policy in controlling unemployment and inflation.
